Mentor Training
On January 29, Gina, Megan and Sarah (three of our homeowner families) met Marilyn Patton and Terry to plan mentoring services for our Cheyenne families. A survey of our Cheyenne families is being completed first to gather the intersts and activites that the mentors will focus in monthly contacts and bi-monthly get togethers. The first get-together for all mentor and WYFHOP families is planned for Sunday, March 18 from 2-4 in the Sunflower Room, 3rd Floor of the Laramie County Public Library. A seconf early summer picnic is being planned for May. (More information to follow.)
Board Drafts three year Budget
The WYFHOP Board, to better plan our future, is preparing a three year budget for 2012-2014. The next bi-monthly Board Meeting is scheduled for March 9 from 12:30 to 1:30 in the conference room of Wyoming State Bank at 1525 Pershing. (The agenda will be posted on this website at the beginning of March with the approval of our Board Secretary, Mr Jack Sapp. This meeting is open to the public and all are welcome.
Applications being Updated
With the assistance of Gina Salazar, Board Member, we are updating the WYFHOP application for 2012. This application will be posted on the website and used to recruit the 2012 Cheyenne class which begins in April. The application will guide families towards the traditional home ownership or the Creekside development which is scheduled for initial construction later this summer
